Even the Volunteers Have Fun!
Travel plans for the motorcycle escorts is rather easy for this event, because we'll be close to home all weekend and we have our own transportation. We'll probably choose someplace to meet each morning, for breakfast maybe, and then ride together to that day's starting point. Those meeting locations will be determined just a week or two before the event, so be sure to check back here for more information as the event date approaches.
The meeting times and locations will be posted here, along with maps, just to make sure everyone can find their way. Some of the escorts may choose to "camp" with the walkers instead of riding to and from home, so we'll try to identify a spot at each day's starting point where we can meet before we get out on the route.
September can offer some gorgeous weather, but it can throw some nasty changes at us too. Just watch the weather forecasts and dress accordingly.
