Most of the escorts will be heading to the Alexandria area on Sunday, July 25. For those who want to ride over as a group, we'll be meeting at the TA travel center and restaurant in Rogers at 11:00 am. It's located just west of the Twin Cities at the northeast corner of I-94 and Highway 101, and this map should help you find your way there. We plan to have a late breakfast, or an early lunch, and leave around noon. We'll catch up to all the other volunteers and riders later in the afternoon.

All motorcycles need to assemble at the Douglas County Fairgrounds at 4:00 on Sunday afternoon. The fairgounds are north of town on County Road 82 (3rd Ave. W.) and can be accessed easily from County Road 45 on the west or Highway 29 on the east. Meet between the grandstand and the luggage area where we'll distribute radios, first aid kits, and other supplies. The meeting is expected to be brief, and the sattelite image below shows the general location.

This is a rain-or-shine event for the bicyclers, and we'll be with them in whatever weather they have to endure. So wear and bring riding gear that's appropriate for the week's weather. Our days will start early all week long. It may be cool in the morning, but expect it to warm up. And bring your rain gear!
