Riding the Trails on the 2008 MS Twin Cities Ride
The MS Twin Cities Ride is a one-day bike tour that will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010. It starts and stops at the Maplewood Community Center and takes participants northeast toward Scandia, and back. Riders will have the option of taking a 60-mile or 30-mile loop. The tour will provide participants with a fully marked and supported route, with frequent rest stops serving water, energy drinks, fruit, and snacks. Bicycle mechanics will be available at the rest stops, and safety volunteers will keep the route as safe as possible. At least eight motorcycle escorts will be needed on this event, and each will be expected to serve for the entire day.
